Senior Vice President, Business Development
Since 2015, Matthew Deans has served as Option Care’s Vice President of Business Development. In this role, he is responsible for new product and service development across Manufacturers, including Trade Relations, Health Systems and Payers, as well as general management responsibilities for the Network Management and Women’s Health businesses.
Prior to joining Option Care’s Executive Team, Deans held a leadership role with responsibility for Trade Relations and Program Development within the Walgreens Infusion Services business unit. He was responsible for expanding the scope of services provided by Walgreens Infusion Services, and launched new programs like Kalbitor Home Infusion Services™, Makena @Home® by Walgreens Infusion Services, as well as breakthrough therapies like Gattex and Blincyto.
Deans began his career with Walgreens Health Initiatives in Pharmacy Procurement and Supply Chain, supporting the expansion of Walgreens ancillary business units in PBM/Mail Order, DME/RT, Home Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy.
Dean’s received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Public Policy from Augustana College in 2002 and an MBA from DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in Health Sector Management in 2008.
